These pieces show the evolution of my photography throughout my time here at TRU. Each piece has it’s own reason as to why it’s here as explained below. All my photography pieces tell a story, and with that story is a memory in time. My goal in the future with photography is to tell people stories in a still image. Whether it’s a brand shoot, Instagram shot, wedding or funeral, my goal is to tell peoples stories through visuals.
This piece is the first piece I ever created for any photography class. It was fall and these were props laying around. This image displays depth of field and how simple it is to create a story with objects lying around your house
This image was to create a product shot for a brand. it’s not the most exciting image, but this is an example of my technique and lighting capabilities when it comes to photography.
This is my dog Angel and she is the sweetest dog in the world. I took this photo just to get some practice with a moving subject and she looks adorable. It uses natural light from my living room and captures her essence as a dog.
This was my first commission as a photographer. Since she had glasses, glare was inevitable from the studio lights. This photo shows my skills with photoshop and lightroom to remove glasses glare, and do simple touch ups to make up and acne. It also shows my ability to work with people and make them look relaxed and comfortable in front of a camera.
